Dalelands, one of the hearts of Faerûn, is a D&D Persistent World Roleplay server for Neverwinter Nights 2, using the 3.5e rule set. Founded in August of 2010, the goal of our community is to provide a welcoming and immersive environment for roleplay in the Forgotten Realms setting.
Create a custom character, choosing from the many races and classes, and set them off on adventures with your friends and dungeon master. Your actions and choices have consequences that can affect the server world as a whole. Dalelands Beyond is set in the rich and rewarding world of Faerûn, put together by players, for players. We are wholly committed, in heart and mind, to developing our shared world, and making it responsive to all of us.
To play on Dalelands Beyond, Neverwinter Nights 2 is required, as well as the expansion packs Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir. Buying all three together in the Complete Edition is recommended (comes with Mysteries of Westgate, which completes all official content). This is an adult server, and we believe in treating our players like adults. For that reason, all manner of serious role play is acceptable here, and all role-play can result in consequences for both your character and the world - both beneficial and harmful.
We highly recommend adding Skywing's Client Extension as well, as it contains fixes to reduce game crashing and adds the utility of a reply function for speaking to other players directly. All server-specific files will be automatically downloaded to your documents folder when connecting to the server and will be updated automatically on subsequent visits. You can find detailed installation and troubleshooting instructions on the page below.
- Start the game.
- At the main screen, click on Multiplayer.
- Choose a Bioware Community Name and enter a Password, then click on Sign In. Bioware no longer maintains the online community and accounts, but don't worry: we can prevent others from logging onto our server with your login.
- Click on Direct Connect.
- Enter 209.133.192.82:5121 in the Server IP Address field. No password is needed.
