| You can bypass the account authentication by editing the "Hosts" file. It is located here: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc (Win 7 32bits). Always make a backup before editing the file. If the hosts file cannot be edited, you need to move it to desktop, edit it there, save, and move it back to original location. To edit the host file do the following:
- Open the "hosts" file with notepad
- Add these two lines of text at the bottom:
0.0.0.0 nw2master.bioware.com
0.0.0.0 nwn2.master.gamespy.com
- Then save the file and close.

One important point - you should use the search function in Win10 to start Notepad. Right-click on the search result for Notepad and choose "Run as Administrator". Otherwise you may not be able to save the edited file. |
